How do I request assistive technology (AT) if I am an eligible student or employee?

(*All links on this page, except iClickers, "How to prepare" and UM Solution Center Services open a new tab on UM's accessibility site.*)

Summary

Using assistive technology (AT) may be a reasonable modification for students and employees with disabilities. Accessible Technology Services provides demonstrations, training, and authorization of usage of such assistive technology. Students with disabilities should receive authorization from the Office for Disability Equity (ODE). Employees can contact the AT specialist directly (see below).

Both iClicker+ and the iClicker 2 are accessible for low-vision or blind students. The iClicker+ buttons are braille labeled; the iClicker 2 provides optional adhesive braille labels. Vibrating remotes are also available.
