Finding your MAC address
Instructions for finding the MAC address for some common devices can be found below. If your device is listed here simply Google Find MAC address for your device.
- Select Settings from the Start Menu or by locating Settings in Windows Search.
- Select Network & internet.
- Select Wi-Fi.
- Select Hardware properties.
- The MAC address will be listed under Physical address (MAC).
- Select System Settings from your Dock or the Apple menu in the top left of your screen.
- Select Wi-Fi.
- Select Advanced... from the bottom of the page.
- The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi MAC address.
- Select Settings from the home screen.
- Select General
- Select About
- The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi Address
- Select Settings from the applications menu
- Near the bottom of the settings menu, select About Device
- Select Status
- The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi MAC Address
- From the main Xbox One homepage, select My Games & Apps
- Select Settings
- Select Network
- Select Advanced Settings
- The MAC address will be listed on the right
- Select My Xbox
- Select System Settings
- Select Network Settings
- Select Configure Network
- Select Advanced Settings from the Additional Settings tab
- Select Alternate Mac Address
- The MAC address will be listed
- Select Settings
- Select System
- Select System Information
- The MAC address will be listed next to MAC address (LAN Cable)
- Select Settings
- Select System Settings
- Select System Information
- The MAC address will be listed here
- Select System Settings
- Select Internet
- Select View MAC Address
- The MAC address will be listed here
- Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down through the menu and select Internet
- The Nintendo Switch console's MAC address will be listed under System MAC Address
- From the Home screen, select the gear icon
- Select More +
- Select Device
- The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi MAC Address
- From the home screen, select Menu
- Select Settings
- Select Menu
- Select Device Info
- The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi MAC Address
- Select Settings
- Select About
- The MAC address will be listed next to Ethernet ID
or
- On the UPC label of your Apple TV labeled as Ethernet ID
- From the Home screen, press Up to show the menu bar
- Select Settings
- Select Player Info
- The MAC address will be listed here
- Turn on the Google Home
- Open the Google Home App
- Choose the Google Home Mini from the list of nearby devices
- Select Set Up
- When asked about your Wi-Fi info, tap on the three dots in the top-right corner of your screen
- The MAC address of your Google Home Mini in the window that pops up
- Open the Alexa app
- Select Devices
- Select Echo & Alexa in the upper left of the screen
- Select the Echo device you want to register
- Select About menu
- The MAC address will be listed here
