Download ArcPro and Required Software
Download ArcPro: Includes download for ArcPro, Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime, Microsoft Edge Webview2 Runtime, and any available patches.
Required Software
Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime (x64 only) 8.0.0 or a later patch release (8.0.1 and so on), using a Windows x64 installer, is required.If you do not already have it installed, before installing ArcGIS Pro, please install it by running the .exe in the linked folder.
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime version 117 or later is required. If it is not already installed on the machine, use the Evergreen Bootstrapper or Evergreen Standalone Installer from Microsoft.
Patches: After you install ArcPro, double click on the latest patch (if any) and install or launch ArcPro and it should notify you of any patches/updates.
Install ArcPro
Before you Install:
Check that you computer meets the minimum system requirements. ArcPro can only be installed on Windows computers.
Install Instructions:
- Install Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.xx if it is not already installed.
- Click on the ArcPro installer that you downloaded.
- Select the location you would like to extract the setup files to (usually you can just leave the default), and click Next.
- Ensure Launch the setup program is check and click Close
- On the Welcome to the ArcGIS Pro Setup program page click Next
- Check the box next to I accept the master agreement and click Next
- Select Anyone who uses this computer (all users) and hit Next
- Click Next
- Click Install
- Click Finish
License ArcPro
- Launch ArcPro
- At the sign in page, click Your Organization’s URL
- In the empty field, enter umontana
- Click Continue, then click the UM NetID button
- Sign in with your NetID and password at the UM NetID SSO Page
