Read&Write Installation on Personal Devices
Head to Read&Write Software Downloads | Everway and download the "Single User License" version for your operating system. Install the device as normal. When installation finishes, you will need to activate your license using the instructions below.
Read&Write Installation on University-Managed Devices
Read&Write can be installed via Company Portal, Software Center, or Self-Service+. By default, Read&Write runs at start up and will be available when users log into the computer. Persons who desire to use the program will have to follow the steps below for activating Read&Write. When Read&Write asks if you would like to stay signed in, users must choose No if they are on a shared device like a Lab.
Licensing Read&Write
Read&Write needs to be licensed before users are allowed access to all of its tools. This is done through your University-provided Microsoft Account. Instructions for logging into your account are below with students provided first and staff/faculty below.
Students
Run Read&Write from the desktop or finder icon.
On the log in option browser window that appears – Select Sign in with Microsoft
Sign in with your student Microsoft account. This uses you NetID and is written in the following format: ab123456@umconnect.umt.edu
After clicking Next, you will be taken to a NetID login page. Login as normal, using your NetID and password.
Read&Write will authorize and ask if you would like to stay signed in – click Yes if you are on your own device or No if on someone else's device
Congratulations! You have successfully installed and licensed Read&Write.
Faculty/Staff
Run Read&Write from the desktop/Start menu or Finder Applications icon.
On the log in option browser window that appears – Select Sign in with Microsoft
Sign in with your staff Microsoft account. This uses the following format: FirstName.LastName@umt.edu and the associated password
Read&Write will authorize and ask if you would like to stay signed in – click Yes if you are on your own device or No if on a shared device
Congratulations! You have successfully installed and licensed Read&Write.
