Former UM students, retirees, and individuals no longer employed with UM have been notified via direct email that their UM email accounts will be deactivated effective January 31, 2025. Former UM employees with emeritus status will not be affected. Former students who have not been actively enrolled at UM for the past two calendar years will not have access to their UM student email account as of January 31, 2025.
To minimize potential disruptions, we recommend the following actions:
- Transfer any important messages or attachments from your UM student email account to a personal email account as soon as possible, and by no later than Jaunuary 31, 2025.
- If you still access OneDrive using your UM student email account, be sure to move any documents or files that you wish to save to a different storage service.
- Contact any publications or organizations where your former student email address may still be listed, and request that your student email address be replaced with a different email address.
