Description
A Late Registration Fee of $80.00 is assessed on all registration bills not paid by the 1st class day of the semester. An additional Late Registration Fee of $80.00 is assessed on all registration bills not paid by the 15th instructional day for a total of $160.00. Requests to waive part or the entire fee must be timely and submitted no later than the 45th class day of the semester. Documentation to substantiate the student's claim may be required.
The University of Montana policy states that waivers may be issued as follows:
- The late registration was the result of an institutional error
- A student was actively engaged in Military Service, Firefighting, Law Enforcement, or other similar public service duties during the registration period and such duties precluded registration and finalization
- The delay was caused by a government agency. (Additional Documentation may be required, i.e. supporting documentation of the circumstance, etc.)
