The University of Montana offers RiseVision digital signage hardware and software at no cost to departments. Departments are responsible for purchasing TVs and mounting hardware. This initiative primarily supports the Emergency Response Notification system, with priority given to high-traffic areas like student lounges, busy hallways, and waiting areas. Departments can choose to have UM manage TV displays, featuring UM events and programs, or manage their own content. Due note, external advertising is not permitted on these devices. In emergencies, emergency messaging will automatically display on all screens. If you would like to preview this program, RiseVision is already in place at the University Center, The Lodge Dining Center, Curry Health Center, and UM Housing.
