Description
- Install Citrix Workspace from the following link:
- https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
- Open an internet browser and navigate to the following URL:
- https://labs.umt.edu
Google Chrome is recommended; Microsoft Edge presents with some issues.
- Log in using your NetID and password.
- If it’s asking for Citrix Workspace, click on Detect Workspace.
You can also use the drop down next to your name and select "Change Citrix Workspace" and then select the link for "Use full version".
- Once logged in, click on the "Desktops" tab, and click on "Lab".
- Press the "Open" button to open the Virtual Lab image.
- Select "Permit use" from the pop-up window to let the virtual machine use resources on your computer. This will allow you to save to your local machine.
- IMPORTANT: Make sure you save all of your work to UM-Box, OneDrive, or to your local computer! When the virtual machine closes down, all files stored on the virtual machine will be lost.
- Run Microsoft Office or any of the other applications on the Virtual Labs.
- When you are ready to stop, press "Account" button from the Start Menu, and then select "Sign out".
Alternatively, you can right click on the "Start" button, select "Shut down or sign out" and then "Sign out".
