Finding your MAC address

 

Instructions for finding the MAC address for some common devices can be found below. If your device is listed here simply Google Find MAC address for your device.

Apple iOS

  1. Select Settings from the home screen.
  2. Select General
  3. Select About
  4. The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi Address

Android

  1. Select Settings from the applications menu
  2. Near the bottom of the settings menu, select About Device
  3. Select Status
  4. The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi MAC Address

Xbox One

  1. From the main Xbox One homepage, select My Games & Apps
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Network
  4. Select Advanced Settings
  5. The MAC address will be listed on the right

Xbox 360

  1. Select My Xbox
  2. Select System Settings
  3. Select Network Settings
  4. Select Configure Network
  5. Select Advanced Settings from the Additional Settings tab
  6. Select Alternate Mac Address
  7. The MAC address will be listed

Playstation 4

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select System
  3. Select System Information
  4. The MAC address will be listed next to MAC address (LAN Cable)

Playstation 3

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select System Settings
  3. Select System Information
  4. The MAC address will be listed here

Nintendo Wii U

  1. Select System Settings
  2. Select Internet
  3. Select View MAC Address
  4. The MAC address will be listed here

Nintendo Switch

  1. Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
  2. Scroll down through the menu and select Internet
  3. The Nintendo Switch console's MAC address will be listed under System MAC Address

Kindle Fire

  1. From the Home screen, select the gear icon
  2. Select More +
  3. Select Device
  4. The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi MAC Address

Kindle Paperwhite / First Generation

  1. From the home screen, select Menu
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Menu
  4. Select Device Info
  5. The MAC address will be listed under Wi-Fi MAC Address

Apple TV

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select About
  3. The MAC address will be listed next to Ethernet ID

or

  1. On the UPC label of your Apple TV labeled as Ethernet ID

Roku

  1. From the Home screen, press Up to show the menu bar
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Player Info
  4. The MAC address will be listed here

Google Home

  1. Turn on the Google Home
  2. Open the Google Home App
  3. Choose the Google Home Mini from the list of nearby devices
  4. Select Set Up
  5. When asked about your Wi-Fi info, tap on the three dots in the top-right corner of your screen
  6. The MAC address of your Google Home Mini in the window that pops up

Amazon Echo and Alexa Devices

  1. Open the Alexa app
  2. Select Devices 
  3. Select Echo & Alexa in the upper left of the screen
  4. Select the Echo device you want to register
  5. Select About menu
  6. The MAC address will be listed here
