Mass Migration to Teams Phone
Starting Sunday night, March 30, and complete by 7 a.m. Monday, March 31, all common telephone users on the University of Montana campus (including both the east and west campuses, Flathead Lake Biological Station, and remote Teams users) who have not already made the transition will be switched over to the Microsoft Teams Phone System.
This mass migration will apply only to common phone users and is not expected to affect Admissions or Registration. A common phone user is someone who answers only their own phone number, does not have any other phone lines on their phone, and is not part of a call group. Complex phone users who have not already made the transition will receive direct assistance from the Telecom Network team at a later date.
As a reminder, Teams Phone information and training materials are listed on the Microsoft Teams Phone System project webpage, and include an FAQ, Helpdesk Guide, Knowledge Base article, and augmented Teams video training (to view the videos, log in with your NetID and NetID password).
